Introduction

There are five main components in the Membership business area:

  • Member Eligibility Management is the operational unit that monitors and audits Member and Employer group records and maintains data integrity.

  • Member Enrollment manages the processes that add a new member to the database.

  • Member Information Management includes business processes that allow users to inquire on and maintain Member, Membership Structure, and Benefit Plan reference information.

  • Prospective & Current Member Support handles communication with members, including outreach to new members, and support for current members such as application communications, appeals and grievances.

  • Employer Group Management includes business processes that maintain Membership Structure information and Membership Structure Templates.
